Willis Blodgett, Jr.
Word was received here this morning of the death of Willis Blodgett, jr. of Battle Creek. He passed away last evening. Willis was well known here and in the Aurand district, where he spent his boyhood days. He is survived by his wife and one child, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Blodgett of Homer and by six brothers and three sisters. His death is the second in a family of eleven and he was the youngest son of the parents. One brother Leo resides in Tekonsha. Definite funeral arrangements have not been made. The funeral service will be Friday.

Willis Blodgett
Willis Blodgett, World war veteran, with the base hospital in the medical department at Camp Custer, died at his residence, 39 Plumb, Tuesday at 9:30 p. m. He leaves his widow, Marion; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis H. Blodgett of Homer; one daughter, Virginia living at home; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Cook of Tekonsha, Mrs. Robert Howe and Mrs. Amos Hamilton, both of Homer; six brothers, Fred and Harry Blodgett of Homer, Hugh Blodgett of Toledo, Leo Blodgett of Tekonsha, Clarence Blodgett of Albion and Vaughn Blodgett of Detroit. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p. m. from Hebble's chapel, with the Rev. A. T. Tomshany in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

Blodgett.
Willis Blodgett, aged forty years, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Blodgett, sr., of this village passed away at his home in Battle Creek Tuesday evening death being caused by cancer of which he had suffered for eleven months. He is survived by a wife, Marian, one daughter Virginia, his parents, Mr. and Ms. W. M. Blodgett, three sisters, Mrs. Fern Howe of south Albion, Mrs. Hazel Hamilton, of Homer, Mrs. Mattie Cook of Tekonsha; six brothers, Clarence of Albion, Hugh of Toledo, Leo of Tekonsha, Vaughn of Detroit, Harry and Fred of Homer and a host of other relatives to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Hebble's chapel and burial in the Memorial Park cemetery in Battle Creek.
