Mrs. Amos Hamilton
HOMER -- Mrs. Hazel (Blodgett) Hamilton, 82, of 1294 County Line Road, died Monday at her residence.

She was born in Tekonsha Township and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Homer Presbyterian Church and its Women's Association, and she was a choir member for many years. She was a member of Stella Chapter OES of Homer.

She was the widow of Amos Hamilton who died in 1970.

Surviving are a son, Gale D. Hamilton of Homer; daughters, Mrs. Hugh (Dorthea) Ambler of Homer and Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Langan of Lakewood, Ohio; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Fern) Howe of Homer.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Homer Chapel, Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels, Inc.

HOMER--Mrs. Hazel Hamilton, 82, died Monday at the home of her son in Homer.

Mrs. Hamilton was born to Willis and Sarah (Allen) Blodgett on Mar. 9, 1894, in Tekonsha. She married Amos Hamilton Oct. 21, 1914. He proceeded her in death in 1970.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Homer and its organizations, and had been active in the choir for many years.

Surviving are her son, Gale, of Homer; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh C. (Dorthea J.) Ambler of Homer; Mrs. Robert B. (Ruby M.) Langan of Lakewood, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Furn) Howe of Homer; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Seven brothers and two sisters proceeded Mrs. Hamilton in death.

Friends will be received at the Homer Chape of Tidd-Williams Funeral Homes where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Fred Cunningham, of the First Presbyterian Church of Albion will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Homer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Hamilton, 82, widow of Amos Hamilton, were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Cunningham of the First Presbyterian Church of Albion officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mark Ambler, Jack Blodgett, Gregory Hamilton, Larry Hamilton, Michael Langon and Bruce Murphy.
