Glen Conard, 83, of Bloomington, died Saturday at his residence. Born July 30, 1912, in Monroe County, he was the son of John and Lena (Rose) Conard. He was a farmer and member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie (Smith) Conard; one son, Robert Conard of Crown Point; one daughter, Susan Jordan of Peru; five sisters, Alice Stevens and Ruth Smith and Betsy Turner, all of Bloomington, Ethel Gorsuch of Malvern, PA, and Gertrude Gwin of Somerset, KY; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Young and Frances Rogers. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home. Friends may call 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. - Herald Times 12 May 1996
