She was the daughter of Polk and Sarah (Percifield) Brummett. She married Lawrence Elmer Fleener Sr in Brown County. She lived in Franklin since 1941 and was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Morgantown. Four children survive: Louise Buechele, Lawrence Fleener Jr and Mickey Fleener, all of Franklin, and Maurice Fleener of Martinsville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Obit shows her name as Cora Dell Fleener and gives her birth date as May 8, 1896. It also states that she died before noon Friday Dec. 27th.
