Daniel Brummett, 64, Battle Ground, Rt. 1, died at 4:19 PM Thursday, Jan. 17, 1952, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he had been a patient one day. He had been in failing health for several months. Born in Brown County, he was never married and was employed on farms most of his life.

Survivors are four sisters and three brothers, Joseph Brummett of Lafayette, Rt. 4, Robert Brummett and Mrs. Neva Davis of Bloomington, Richard Brummett of Helmsburg, Mrs. Clora Fleenor of Franklin, Mrs. Corda Stacy of Monticello, and Mrs. Mary Dowell of Battle Ground, Rt. 3, with whom he lived.

Services will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at Baker Funeral Home, Dayton, Rev. Harry Parker officiating; burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
