He farmed in the Town of Wilson nearly all his life.
He was a life-long member of New Hope Lutheran Church-Pine Creek, and served the church as a council member. He was treasure of the cemetery board and also served on the Town of Wilson board.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Christopherson of Ridgeland; one son, Wayne of Ridgeland; one daughter, Lynn (Jim) Bonneville of Ridgeland; two granddaughters; brothers, Gordon and Richard (Ruby) Christopherson of Ridgeland; sisters, Evelyn (Harold) Clemetson, Pearl (Jalmer) Pederstuen, Ethel (Robert) Lien, Vivian Lundequam and Muriel DeLap, all of Ridgeland, Mary Lou Puls of Barron, Betty Malcolm of Blue Earth, Minn., and Nina (Elwood) Donaldson of New Auburn; as well as by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. from New Hope Lutheran Church-Pine Creek, with Pastor Barbara Koch officiating with interment at the church cemetery with graveside military services by the Ridgeland American Legion.
Visitation from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Arrangements with the Mark Rausch Funeral Service, Dallas and Cameron.
