He was the son of George Peter Ouzts and Elizabeth Harling. He married twice:
Mary Steifle on Dec. 27, 1832 in Edgefield District, SC and had 6 children.
Rebecca Dorn in Edgefield Dis., SC.

Isaac's death at 80 years of age resulted from drowning while crossing Horsepen Creek.

Isaac built his home, "Oak Lawn", one mile from McKendree church where he and his wife were members. He was one of the original trustees to whom the land of the present building was deeded. He also served as a church steward.
