Mr. Jacob Ouzts of the Sleepy Creek section of Edgefield County died Saturday night [May 17, 1884]. He was fifth son of Mr. Peter Ouzts, who over the century and a half ago immigrated to this country from Germany, and was wounded in the Revolutionary War fighting for his country.
