Miss Anna Smurl, aged 17, died at the family home, 605 North Main street, Parsons, this morning at 11:30 o'clock, after a short illness of pneumonia. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Smurl; one sister Mary, and the following step-broth[ers],Samuel, William, John, at Camp Lee and James.

Funeral of Miss Anna Smurl
The funeral of Miss Anna Smurl took place from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Smurl, 608 South Main street, Parsons, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services were conducted at the residence by Rev. Father Mulholland of St. Dominick's Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Hanover, where services were concluded by Rev. Mulholland. There were numerous floral tributes. The pall bearers were Michael Laubaugh, William Sebish, John, James, Samuel and William Smurl
