JAMES L. SMURL
James L. Smurl, 62, of 1647 South Conestoga Street. Philadelphia, died Thursday afternoon in Phlladelphia State hospital following an Illness of six months.
Mr. Smurl was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late John and Ellen Ferguson Smurl. He resided In Philadelphia 20 years. Prior to his Illness, he was employed there by the Mill Print Shop.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Patrick Kennedy, Philadelphia, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday; at 9 from the funeral home, 333 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.
