Born in Johnson County, TX, Mrs Alford moved to Oklahoma in 1897 and to Oklahoma City in 1918. She was a member of St Louis Methodist Church in the city.

Survivors include her husband, A R Alford of the home; two daughters, Mrs Naomi Alford of the home, and Mrs R N Fullerton, 842 NW 44; one son, Garland Alford, 5400 N Walker; a niece whom she reared, Mrs Rodney Cox, 1408 NW 19; and one sister, Mrs J H Ethridge, Tipton.

According to the Bailey Family Bible (in my possession) her name is spelled Daisy. I can see that the tombstone has an e at the end. Probably a mistake by the carver. Daisy was my Grandmother's sister. (Submitted by FAG visitor)

Note: most of her records spell her name "Daisye"
