In 1920 he and his parents and four siblings lived on a farm they were renting in Geneva Township, Midland County, MI.

In 1930 he and his parents and eight siblings lived on a farm they were renting for five dollars a month in Liberty Township, Fulton County, IN. They did not have a radio.

In 1940 he and his wife and their son lived on a farm they were renting for $40 a month in Rochester Township in the same county. In 1939 he had an income of $1000 for 52 weeks of work.

Lloyd H. Gault, 69, Rt. 2, Kewanna, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Hospital. He had been ill since January. He was born Aug. 27, 1914 in Fulton County to John Merrit and Katy G. Small Gault. He had lived most of his life in Fulton County. He was married Dec. 12, 1937 in Fulton to Helen Pownall, who survives. He was a retired livestock trucker and farmer, and was a member of the Grass Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving with the wife are two sons, Don, Kokomo, and David, Etna Green; a daughter, Odetta Harrison, Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Estel (Anna) Champ, Mrs. Lawrence (Essie) Siders and Mrs. Sam (Bessie) Kirk, all of Rt. 2, Kewanna; Mrs. Laurel (Vivvian) Otto, Holly, Mich.; Mrs. Robert (Nellie) McGrew, Fulton, and Mrs. Paul (Donna) Reffett, Lagrange; two brothers, Earl, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Elium, Manchester, N.H. Three brothers preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Fulton, with the Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and on Sunday until time of services. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
