MRS. ETTA ELLEN SCHROYER, 82, widow of Lewis Calvin Schroyer, Pleasant Walk, died Sunday morning.
A daughter of the late Uriah and Mary Hessong Palmer, Wolfsville, she was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Pleasant Walk.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Irving, Quincy, Pa.; Mrs. Milo Dusing, Mrs. Waldo Ridenour, Boonsboro; two sons, Albert Schroyer and Lloyd Schroyer, both of Smithsburg; thirty-one grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Delauter, Hagerstown; Mrs. Harry Muck, Rouzerville; Mrs. Edgar Cramer, Hagerstown; Mrs. David Baer, Smithsburg; three brothers, Charles Palmer, Tiffin, Ohio.; Harry Palmer, Smithsburg; Russell Palmer, Hagerstown.
The body is at the funeral home in Middletown, it will be removed Tuesday at 12 noon to the United Brethren Church at Pleasant Walk to lie in state from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. when services will be conducted by Rev. Ira Burkett. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Gladhill Company, funeral directors.

FUNERAL SERVICES :
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. for ETTA E. SCHROYER, wife of Lewis Calvin Schroyer of Pleasant Walk, in the Pleasant Walk Evangelical United Brethren Church, Rev. Ira Burkett officiated with the assistance of Rev. Roger Keech at the largely attended funeral.
Mrs. Mary Wilson, Mrs. Peggy Jenkins sang "There Will Be No Dark Valley," "Paradise Valley," and "what A Friend" with Naomi Burkett on the organ.
Pallbearers were, Charles Easterday, Cyrus Smith, Ralph Smith, Gorman Smith, John Harshman and Victor Burhman.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
