OSCAR CALVIN SCHROYER, near Myersville, died Tuesday morning after a long illness at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, aged 51 years.
He was a son of the late Calvin and Etta Palmer Schroyer, near Myersville, and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva M. Schroyer, U.S. Army; Ralph E. Schroyer, U.S. Navy in the Pacific; Misses Marie and Norma Schroyer, both of Hagerstown; Misses Amy M., and Ruth E. Schroyer, and Donald L. Schroyer at home.
Two brothers, Lloyd and Albert Schroyer, near Smithsburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Irving, Quincy, Pa.; Mrs. Donna Buesing, Benevola, and Mrs. Dorothy Ridenour, Mt. Lena, also survive.
The body is at the funeral home in Middletown. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment Myersville U.B. cemetery. Gladhill Company, funeral directors.
