The native of Montgomery County was the daughter of the late Henry A. Braddy and the late Stella Collins Braddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Jones and her daughter, Mrs. Ellowease Adams. She also was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Louis Adams, Sr., St. Augustine, Florida; a grandson, Louis Adams, Jr., Arlington, Virginia; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Hale, Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, M.A. Braddy and Julian Braddy, both of Soperton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 1998 with the Reverend Jack Fernandez and Larry Braddy officiating. Interment followed in the Braddy Cemetery in Montgomery County.
Pallbearers were Larry Braddy, Kelly Braddy, Bob Henry Braddy, Wayne Braddy, Gary Braddy and Norman Gillis, Jr.
