Mr. Cecil B. Braddy, 73, of Route 1, Mt. Vernon, died in a Savannah hospital Monday morning, April 6, 1987.

Mr. Braddy, a lifetime resident of Montgomery County, was a son of the late Henry A. Braddy and the late Mrs. Stella Collins Braddy. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Line Primitive Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Palmer Braddy; two sons, Kelly Braddy and Pete Braddy, Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Ms. Claudean Braddy, Warner Robins, Mrs. Thelma Hale, Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Van Braddy, Mt. Vernon, Steelie Braddy, Tarrytown, Julian Braddy and M.A. Braddy, Soperton; four grandchildren, Sylvia Braddy, Sherry Braddy, Michelle Braddy and John Braddy, Mt. Vernon.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 8, with Elder Manning Temples and the Rev. Jack Fernandez officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery in Montgomery County.

Pallbearers will be Greg Palmer, Byron Braddy, Drexel Braddy, Wayne Braddy, Bob Henry Braddy and Billy Braddy.
