Goldie was born in Glen Rock, on March 8, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Samuel Bankert and Elsie (Spidle) Bankert.
She graduated from Glenville High School class of 1941.
Mrs. Renoll was a homemaker most of her life and was a longtime member of St. Paul's Dubs United Church of Christ. She was very active at her church and taught Sunday school for over 50 years. She also volunteered and was the coordinator of the PAL's program at the church for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Merle L. Renoll and wife, Sonia of Glen Rock, David H. Renoll and wife, Penelope of Chester MD, Dennis S. Renoll and wife, Jean of Springfield, VA, Jeffrey A. Renoll of Spring Grove, and Marlin L. Renoll of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren; and four great-grandsons. She is also survived by her sisters, Anna Mae Bankert of Glen Rock, and Barbara Almony and husband, Horace of Glen Rock; her brother, Dale Bankert and wife, Mable of New Freedom; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Ehrhart and Florence Ehrhart; and her brothers, Charles and George Bankert.
A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on December 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home, Spring Grove, with the Rev Larry M. Estepp officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul's Dubs Union Cemetery.
