Rick L. Anderson, 48, of Valparaiso, (Morgan Township), passed away Saturday, November 21, 1998 at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso. Mr. Anderson was a lifetime resident of Morgan Township and was a farmer. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts, 4-H Club, Demolay Valparaiso Chapter, Porter Co. Farm Bureau, Indiana National Guard and a 1968 Graduate of Morgan High School. Born July 28, 1950 in Valparaiso, IN the son of Richard J. and Dorothy (Breitzke) Anderson.
Survivors include daughter, Stacy Anderson of Valparaiso; son, Ryan Anderson of Wheatfield; mother, Dorothy Anderson of Valparaiso; six sisters, Laura Anderson, Geraldine Anderson, Phyllis Anderson, Dianne Anderson, all from Morgan Twp., Elma Lou Looft of Valparaiso and Edris Batzka of Valparaiso. Preceded in death by his father.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery, Morgan Twp. Memorials will be given as the family wishes. Visitation will be Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kosanke Funeral Home of Kouts.
