Mary McGar was born March 17, 1908, in Cook County. She was a member of the Assembly of God. She was the last surviving member of a family of eight children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Henry Elbert McGar; daughter, Beverly Renshaw; and son-in-law, Charles Martin.
Survivors: Sons, Harley McGar and his wife, Bettey, of Fort Worth , Robert McGar and his wife, Kathryn, of Fort Worth and Willias McGar and his wife, Rosa, of Benbrook; daughter, Jerry Martin of Fort Worth ; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Jack Renshaw.
