Mrs. Mary H. Johnson

Mrs. Mary Hylton Johnson, 83, of Lucasville Rt. 4 died at 8am Sunday at her residence.

Born Jun 30, 1877 at Webbville, Ky. she was a daughter of Nathan and Violet Pennington Hylton.

Surviving are five (sic) daughters, Mrs. Martha Adkins of Otway, Mrs. Violet Campbell of Lucasville Star Route, Mrs. Virginia Smith of Illinois, Miss Mary Bell Johnson at home; eight sons, W. Riley of Wheelersburg Rt. 1, Leonard of Argillite, Ky., Jonnny of Lucasville Rt. 1, Richard of Lucasville Rt. 3, Lonnie at home, Nathan and James, both of Portsmouth Rt. 6, Ward of Lucasville Rt. 2; two brothers, Giles of Wheelersburg and Jesse of Riverton, Ky., 49 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, John, who died in 1951, a son, a daughter, a sister and a brother.

She was a member of the Regular Baptist Church.

Funeral services are to be at 1pm Wed. at McKinley Funeral Home at Lucasville. Burial is to be in Pritchard Cemetery.
