Wilma Marie was born to Andrew Joseph and Louella Josephine "Jose" Heckadon. Wilma married Jim Hobson in Butler (Bates Co.) Mo. To this union, six children were born: Howard Wayne December 17, 1937; John Roy July 30, 1944; JoAnn ?; Bonnie ? ; Ronald DeWayne July 22, 1952; Marilyn Diane December 15, 1953.

Wilma's husband Jim died at a very young age of a heart attack leaving the farming to her and her sons. Wilma carried on the tasks at hand without complaint.

Wilma was always a joy to be around and always had a smile on her face and a good thoughts to spread throughout the small community.

Wilma enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. Wilma was a great friend to many.

Some people thought Wilma was too kind and naive to those that wanted to take advantage of her, but she was not naive by any means and kept one unsavory family member at bay as long as she was on this earth.

Unfortunately, after her death there have been those that tried to take advantage of her sons financially, but Karma is a universal principle with respect to cause, effect, action and reaction that governs all life and there is a higher power for those to answer to!
