His stone says that he died in 1910, but the family records show 1909. Once the family left his grandparents, they moved a lot between Indiana and Ohio. He most likely died in Randolph County, Ohio.

He was ill for quite some time and collected post cards. His sister Emma had two large albums that he had filled. Even will all of her moves, she hung on to those. Because his mother died in 1904, his sister Emma probably was his main care-taker.
