Andrew Linn, Jr. was born in Howard Township, Centre Co., P.A. on June 17th, 1802. Andrew died on August 17th, 1887 in Pavillion Township, Kendall Co., Ill. He died at the age of 85 years old. His body was interred on August 19th, 1887 in the Plattville Cemetery in Plattville, Ill. His Father was Andrew Linn, Sr., and his Mother was Martha Polk Linn, both who originally came from Ireland. Andrew Linn, Jr. married Barbara Leathers Linn in Pennsylvania on April 6th, 1830. Barbara was born in Howard, Centre Co., P.A. on April 23rd, 1811. She was the daughter of Jacob Leathers, Jr. & Elizabeth Houser Leathers. Barbara L. Linn died on November 12th, 1862 at just 51 years old. Her body was interred in November of 1862 at the Plattville Cemetery in Illinois. Andrew Linn, Jr. and Barbara Leathers Linn had the following 15 children: Patrick T. Linn(1830), Martha Linn Gunsallus(1831), Elizabeth Linn DeHaas(1833), Joseph H. Linn(1836), Mary W. Linn Harlevich Wesche(1837), Margaret Linn Addison(1839), William T. Linn(1841), John W. Linn(1843), Sarah Jane Linn(1845), James Polk Linn(1847), Nancy W. Linn Hilton(1849), Andrew Linn III (1851), Susanna A. Linn(1853), Benjamin Franklin Linn(1854), and Robert Wright Linn(1858). The occupation of Andrew Linn, Jr. was that of a farmer. The occupation of his Wife, Barbara L. Linn was that of a housewife and also that of a farmer. Andrew Linn, Jr. & Barbara L. Linn are my Great-Great Grandparents. Property Administered by Maggie Linn.
