"Dies in Aurora

William Lynn, for years a resident of Yorkville and the country south of here, died at his home in Aurora Monday after an illness of some duration. Last fall Mr. Lynn fell and broke his hip, hastening his death. Mr. Lynn was born in Pennsylvania in 1841 and came to Kendall county with his parents in 1856, living near Plattville. He later purchased a farm for himself near Yorkville where he lived till he moved to Yorkville. He was married Miss Ann Jackson in 1864 when he came out of the federal army in which he had enlisted in 1862. She with two sons and a daughter are both dead. He was married again shortly before moving to Aurora some six years ago his widow, Mrs. Stella Lynn, surviving.

The funeral will be held from the G. A. R. hall, Aurora, Thursday morning, interment in the Plattville cemetery."
