Charles Wesley Atkinson, of the Tate Addition, was born March 16, 1908 and departed this life Tuesday, April 13, reaching an age of 85 years.
He was the son of Millard and Betty Catron Atkinson, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Sheppard Atkinson; and four sons, Oval, Jimmy, Alvin and Harold Atkinson.
Funeral services were held April 17 with burial in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
