Bessie A. Atkinson, daughter of Millard and Betty Catron Atkinson, was born February 6, 1902 at Hidalgo, Ky.

In 1920 she married Asberry Whitt of Middletown, Ohio. To this union six children were born. Asberry died in the early thirties.

She married Frances Fairchilds in 1941. No children were born to this union. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1958. June 4, 1963, she passed away.

She is survived by her husband of Phoenix, four daughters, Nita Williamson of Chino Valley, Arizona; Mrs. Goldie Donathon of Dayton, O., Mrs. Anna Cluxton of Franklin, Ohio, and Mrs. Lola Deck of Pacifica, California. One son, Robert Whitt of Dayton, Ohio.

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Atkinson of Houston, Texas; Eight brothers and five sisters; and thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 7th, at 2:00 p.m. in Hampton Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona. Brooks Copeland of the Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery of Prescot, Arizona.
