Felecia Jones, 68, a Syracuse resident since 1984, passed away at 5:50AM, on August 15, 2011 at Indianapolis, IN at Indiana University Hospital.
Felecia was born March 5, 1943 in Franklin, Indiana to Buford and Sarah (Beatty) VanCleave both deceased. Feleica married John T. Jones, Jr. "Butterball" or "Butter" January 6, 1967 and he preceded her in death November 8, 2005.
Felecia had worked at Stokley Van-Camp in Indianapolis, Rushville Nat'l Bank in Rushville, GE Plant in Shelbyville, and Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, and she retired from Zimmer in Warsaw. Felecia graduated from Franklin High School in the Class of 1961 and then attended Indiana Business College.
Felecia leaves her son John T. Jones, III (and his wife, Jeanne Marie) of Milford, IN one daughter, Ms. Amber Jones-Chambers of Indianapolis, IN, two brothers William Carl VanCleave (Marlene) and Lindsley "Lenny" VanCleave both of Franklin, Indiana, one sister Mrs. Beatrice Davis (James) of Rushville, IN and three grandchildren Todd James Jones (Shaundra), Leilani and Imani.
In addition to her husband and parents Felecia is also preceded in death by one sister, Delores K. Moore ("Lorsie") two brothers Buford VanCleave, Jr. ("Junie"), Lester Van Cleave and son in law Curtis Chambers.
Rev. Irvin French, Pas. Humphery Fahie and Rev. David Chambers will preside.
