An avid outdoorsman, Wilbur especially loved hunting and fishing and could relate many exciting tales of adventure. He was a resident of Parmly LifePointes. Wilbur was also a life member of Chisago Lake Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his sister Lillian (Les) Johnson; brother Richard (Alice) Bloom; and countless nieces and nephews. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents William and Anna Bloom; brothers Donald, Byron, Ralph, and Robert; sisters Helen, Ruth, and Grace.
Funeral Services 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City. Interment at Chisago Lake Cemetery in Center City.
