Services for Byron W. Bloom, 51 of 1103 Gorman Avenue, West St. Paul, who passed away Sept 12 of a heart ailment was held Sept 16 min Salem Lutheran Church in West St. Paul with burial in the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church Cemtery, Center City.
A native of Shafer, he resided in St. Paul, having been employed as a salesman for Toni Co since 1946 and prior to that time having been a salesman for the Colgate Palmolive Pet Co.
Mr. Bloom was active in the musical circles, being a member of the church choir and for the past 4 years, having sung with the Minneapolis Pops Chorus.
Survivors are his wife Muriel, 3 sons Byron Jr. of St. Paul,Duane of Golden, CO and William of Minneapolis, sisters Mr. Gerhardt Park of West St. Paul, Mrs. Zane Van Auken of Winona, Mrs. John Tarbox of South Bend, Indiana and Mrs. Leslie Johnson of Excelsior and four brothers, Donald Bloom of Lindstrom, Ralph and Wilbur of Shafer and Richard Bloom of Minneapolis. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren
