Haas, Margaret (Marriage - 24 JUN 1913)
Miss Margaret Haas of the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis., and Mr. Alfred Kass of the town of Thorp, Clark County, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at St. Bernard's Church in this village on Tuesday, June 24, 1913, in the presence of a large circle of relatives and friends, Father Neises officiating. The Misses Mable Kass and Bertha Haas and Robert Haas and Henry Hulls, attended the bride and groom, while Caroline Kass acted as flower girl. Following the ceremony a reception and general festivities were held at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. B. Haas, in the town of Worden. These young people are well known to all and everybody joins in extending sincere congratulations. They will reside on the Kass farm at Eidsvold, Clark County.

Margaret Kass, 89, died at Thorp Care Center, Saturday, December 24, 1977.
Margaret Haas was born September 2, 1888 at Thorp. She was united in marriage June 24, 1913, to Alfred Kass at St. Bernard's Church, Thorp, Wis.
Surviving is one brother, Casper Haas, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Kass, and four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at St. Bernard's Church, December 27, 1977 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bill Buchman officiating. Burial was made in St. Bernard's cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Harvey Boie, Casper Haas, Jr., Arnold Haas, Milburn Haas, Leonard Haas, and Fredrick Smitke.
