She was born Jan. 29, 1917, in Shoals, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Gammon) Butler. She married Luther Probasco on May 10, 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
She retired from Swift Company of Jasper in 1982.
She is a member of the Shoals Holiness Church.
Survivors include three daughters Loretta Jent of Oolitic, Marilyn Mills of French Lick and Wanda Probasco of Dubois; three sons, Arthur, David and Dennis Probasco, all of Shoals; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Violet Way; stepgrandson, Roger Maryfield; four sisters; and six brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery in Martin County.
