ALLSPACH, Walter William Age 98, of Hamilton died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 5:20 p.m. in The Inn at Renaissance Village, Warren County, Ohio. He was born in Trenton, Ohio on August 7, 1911, the son of George and Elizabeth (Bernt) Allspach. He married Rita Oberrecht on February 21, 1940 in Oxford, Ohio and she preceded him in death on September 2, 2002. He had been a farmer and was a member of First St. John United Church of Christ. He is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Allspach Ostendorf of Key West, Florida, Lois Cordes of Middletown and Helen Beth Mello of Peoria, Arizona; a son, Eugene Allspach and wife, JoAnn of Houston, Texas; a sister, Louise Richter of Middletown; ten grandchildren and six great children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Ernst, Wilmer and Homer Allspach and five sisters, Esther Kroger, Hilda Truster, Frieda Persch, Edna Smith and Alma Woodrey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11am at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, Ohio with Rev. Sam Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
