Mrs. Elizabeth Allspach, 87, a native of Trenton and more recently of 503 Staunton St., Troy, died Wednesday night in Stauder Hospital, Troy.
Born in Trenton, she spent most of her life in this community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allspach, on May 6, 1952, and after his death Mrs. Allspach moved to Troy and made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Carl Kroger.
A member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Middletown, she leaves six daughters, Mrs. Kroger, Troy; Mrs. Harry Truster, Mrs. Elmer Woodrey and Mrs. Harold Smith, all of Trenton; Mrs. Albert Persch, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Mark Richter, Middletown; four sons, Ernest Allspach, Somerville; Wilmer Allspach,
Trenton; Homer Allspach, Dickinson, Tex., and Walter Allspach, Hamilton, 33 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, Middletown, with the Rev. H. C. Grunewald, pastor of St. Paul Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
