RICHTER, Louise Was born July 5, 1914 at the farm on which she was raised south of Trenton, Ohio. She was the tenth child of George and Elizabeth Bernt Allspach and was taught strong Christian values by devoted parents and older siblings. Her education began at a one room schoolhouse in Woodsdale, Ohio and was completed at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She met her husband, Mark Richter at Trenton High School. Early in their marriage, they both served their country - Mark in the military and Louise as a hospital volunteer during World War II. Upon completion of her education, she became an educator in the Middletown School System for 37 years. She left an impression upon her elementary students which resulted in countless visits from them throughout her retirement years, many of them bringing their children and grandchildren to visit their favorite teacher. Early in her retirement years, she moved into an apartment at Garden Manor Retirement Community near Middletown, Ohio. She continued her devoted service to the St. Pauls UCC Church in Middletown, did much volunteering at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Community and Garden Manor Retirement Community. Though Louise leaves generations of nieces and nephews who will miss this grand matron of the family, she also became part of the Garden Manor family of residents and staff who will miss her presence of twenty-seven years. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, Middletown Ohio. Please visit www.breitenbach-anderson.com for online condolence.
