Note - the "Tillman" name references Pappy's great-grandmother, who was Jane (Tillman) Johnston (1802-1844). Jane was the granddaughter of William Tillman Sr., a Revolutionary War patriot, and Elizabeth Rebecca McDonald. Apparently, there is a long history between the Tillman and McDonald families.
