Ella Rose Hall McDonald was the wife of James Tillman McDonald. She was a hard worker most of her life often working in the fields along side the men then going in a bit early to get the meals on the table. She was a deeply religious person and read her Bible every day. She loved her family and enjoyed visiting and been visited often. She & Jim had 5 children, all born in Oklahoma - Floyd Tillman, Lindsay Ellis, Retha Lee, Earl William, and Burl Eugene. Married in 1905 in Oklahoma, she lived there until 1941 when she and Jim moved to San Bernardino, California. Later moving to Camarillo in about 1950. Here she stayed until her death.
