Mrs, Sylvester services set Saturday

Funeral services for Frances Sylvester, 82, 1001 Hildreth St., who died shortly before noon Thursday in 11th St. Chautauqua Guest Home will be Saturday at 2:30 p. m. in St., John Lutheran Church. Rev. Peter Peterson, associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The Hage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sylvester is survived by her husband, Harry; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Laverne) Workman, Floyd; a sister, Mrs. Martha Stover, Hospers; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers., two sisters, a son, Martin, and a grandson. Gary.

She was born Jan. 18, 1892, in Homewood, Illinois, to Martin and Johanna Gerdes Puhrmann and was married to Harry Sylvester in Paullina on June 9, 1915. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.
