Martha married William H. Stover on December 22, 1905 in Paullina, Iowa.

Martha and William are the parents of five children:

1. La Vada b. February 4, 1907 d.

2. Melvin Francis b. July 11, 1908 d. August 6, 1980

3. Vincent G. b. 1913 d. September 27, 1935

4. Randall Sylvester b. September 17, 1919 d. November 14, 2001

5. Dale William b. January 2, 1926 d. April 27, 2006

Mrs. William Stover

Mrs. William Stover, 92, of Hospers died Sunday (May 6, 1979) at a hospital in Sioux Center.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Hospers. Rev. Henry G. Eggink will officiate. Burial will be in the Hospers cemetery under direction of the Vander-Ploeg funeral home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Stover, the former Martha Puhrmann, was born. Aug. 3, 1886, in Homewood, Illinois. She was married Dec. 20, 1905, in Paullina. Mr. Stover died Dec. 12, 1948.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. La Vada Thomas of Sun Lake, Ariz.; three sons, Melvin of Clear Lake, S.D., Randall of Le Mars and Dale of Hospers; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
