Services on Tuesday for Mrs. Epher Nelson, 79
Margaret Nelson, age 79, died September 27, 1986, at the Baldwin Care Center, in Baldwin, Wisconsin.
She was born April 23, 1907, in Martell Township, Pierce county, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Anna Gusier.
Margaret was united in marriage to Epher Nelson on June 29, 1929, near Martell, Wisconsin.
Epher and Margaret farmed in Martell Township for 52 years. They moved into Baldwin after leaving the farm in 1981 and have lived in an apartment in Baldwin for the past five years.
Margaret was a long-time member of the Rush River Lutheran Church. She was a kind and loving person and active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Mrs. Paul H. (Edna) Ford and Mrs. Richard (Florence) Jones.
Her survivors include her husband, Epher, and sisters, Irma Guiser, of Baldwin, sister, Mrs. Jerry (Dorothy) Huberty, of Minneapolis, MN; brother, Irwin Guiser, of Martell Township, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at the Dull Funeral Home of Baldwin from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, with funeral services taking place on Tuesday, Sept. 30. 1986, at 1:30 p.m. at the Rush River Lutheran Church in Martell. Pastor Richard Ulvilden officiated with internment in the church cemetery. Music will be provided by vocalist, Wes Belz, and organist Faye Monicken, Pallbearers are: Gregg Nelson, Paige Nelson, William Finke, James Grangaard, Douglas Huberty, and Alan Huberty.
Arrangements were made by Dull Funeral Home of Baldwin, Wisconsin.
