On June 9, 1898, she was united in marriage to William Guiser, They resided together on a a farm near Martell until her husband's death in 1940. This union was blessed in 7 children.

After her husband's death, Mrs. Guiser continued to live on the home farm until 1944 when she moved to Baldwin and made her home with her daughter, Irma.

On June 2 of this year she became ill and was hospitalized. While a patient in the Baldwin hospital during this illness, she observed her 85th birthday. She departed this life on Tuesday afternoon, June 27, 1961.

Mrs. Guiser was a life long member of the Methodist church. In her younger years she was very active in church work. Her main interest in life was to provide a good home for her family. She was thinking of others, rather than of herself, even in her last days.

Besides her brothers, sisters, and husband, she was preceded in death by one infant child and two daughters, Mrs. Edna Ford and Mrs. Florence Jones.

She will be sadly missed by her four surviving children, Margaret Nelson, Irwin, residing on the home farm, Mrs. Jerry Huberty of Minneapolis, husbands and wives of those children, thirteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

She was laid to rest beside her husband. Blessed be her memory.

Pallbearers were: Amos Bakke, Douglas Huberty, Irwin Hemness, Lars Bjerkeng, Alfred Ramberg and Silas Phernetton.
