Death takes Mrs. Steven P. Williams, of Alanson, Sunday
Mrs. Anna Williams, wife of Steven P. Williams, of Alanson, passed away Sunday at the home of her brother, William Crump, Clarion Avenue, where she had been for two weeks.
Mrs. Williams was 53 years of age and was born in Barry County, June 21, 1869, to Henry and Amelia (Hyland) Crump. She married Steven Williams on May 12, 1900.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Mrs. Pearl Murphy and Frederick R. Hunt, from a former marriage to L.J. Hunt. She is also survived by Claudia and Daniel James Williams; her mother, Amelia Crump; three brothers, John Thomas, Grant, and William; two sisters, Nettie McCallum and Claudia Butler.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Henry Crump; Two sisters, Elizabeth Train and Mary Ellen Crump; one brother Henry Crump Jr.; two step-siblings, Levi and Marie Crump.
Funeral services were from the Alanson Methodist Episcopal Church Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Preston, of Levering, was in charge of the service.
