John Crump Succumbs At Home Today
John T. Crump, 85, died today at the home of his niece, Miss Ethel Butler, 412 Madison Street.
Born in Barry County on June 1, 1858, Mr. Crump came to Cheboygan County in 1877. He lived there most of his life before coming to Petoskey 14 years ago.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Florence Haskell, of Johnson, Neb. and Mrs. Grace Heinbecker, of Morley; one brother, William, of Clarion; and one sister, Mrs. Claudia Butler, of Petoskey.
Funeral services will be in Topinabee Church Monday at 2:30 pm with the Rev. M.C. Beers, of Trinity Evangelical Church, conducting. Burial is to be in Burt Township Cemetery.
