Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church for Myrtle Parise, Rev. Maurice Linehan celebrant. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Parise, 92, of Lufkin, was born in Cherokee County May 3, 1896. She lived in Lufkin most of her life and passed away on September 18, 1988 in a local nursing home. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors: daughters, Lucille Parise and Katherine Hayter, daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Womack Hathorn; son and daughter-in-law, Louis D. Jr. and Marie Parise; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Parise is preceded in death by two daughters, Irene Parise Murphy and Mary Louise Parise.

Flowers or contributions to the Glendale Cemetery Assn. are acceptable.
