Services for M. K. Perry, 85, are scheduled for 4:30 pm Thursday in the Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Rusk, with Rev. Don Copeland officiating and burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rusk.
Mr. Perry, Rt. 4, Lufkin, died Wednesday afternoon in a Rusk nursing home. He was born on Sept. 7, 1888 in Cherokee County and had resided in Lufkin for the past several years. Mr. Perry had lived in Cherokee County most of his life, was a retired farmer and was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors: sisters, Mrs. Nettie Lusk of Livingston and Mrs. Myrtle Parise of Lufkin; several nieces and nephews.
