Stockwell - Mrs. Selma Reene, 80, died at her home three miles south of here, at 4 p.m. on September 3. She was born in Sweden in 1861 and was married to Albert Reene in 1880. A resident of this community for fifty years, she was a member of the Pilgrims' Holiness church of Clark's Hill.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Amanda Christopher, Lafayette R#1, and Mrs. Esther Burton, Lafayette R#7; three sons; Fred, Indianapolis; Albert, Lafayette; Walter, Los Angeles, Ca.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Hammerstat, Lafayette; Mrs. John Scott, Potomac, Ill.; three brothers; Charles Erickson, Harry Erickson, Oscar Erickson, all of Lafayette.

The body was taken to the Dickerson funeral home and will be returned to the family home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday. Services from the Stockwell M.E. church Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Willard Knowles and Rev. Charles V. Roush officiating; burial Yorktown cemetery (Stockwell, Indiana).
