Born and reared near Stockwell, Mrs. Christopher was a life resident of Tippecanoe County. She was employed several years at Purdue residence halls. In 1918, she was married at Stockwell to John F. Christopher, who farmed in this area prior to his death in 1962. Mrs. Christopher was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Ladies Circle of the church and Jenks Rest Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a son, John Mac Christopher of Lafayette, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Irene) Loft of Roachdale, Mrs. Lloyd (Velma) Treece of near Buck Creek and Mrs. M. R. (Rosemary) Steegmiller of Lafayette, and one sister, Mrs. Elmer (Ester) Burton of Stockwell. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
