WAVES, N.C. - Camille Helen Midgett Midgett, 88, a native of Waves and the widow of Gustavus Adolphus Midgett, died Wednesday [May 1, 1985] in Waves.
Mrs. Midgett was a member of Fair Haven United Methodist Church and Outer Banks Rebekah Lodge #165.
Survivors include three sisters: Irma M. Austin of Hatteras, Sarah L. Midgett of Waves and Matilda Etheridge of Elizabeth City; and a brother, Dorland Midgett of Waves.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Fair Haven United Methodist Church by the Revs. Jeff Rose and Dale Gray. Burial will be in Midgett Family Cemetery. Twiford's Colony Chapel in Manteo is in charge. The family will be at the home of L.R. Midgett in Waves. The body will be placed in the church this afternoon.
