She lived to see her only son return from a long period of perilous duty in the Pacific war zone with the Navy, and she was cheerful and in good mind until the end.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. G.A. Midgett, Mrs. Dan Midgett, Mrs. Alston Midgett and Dorland Midgett of Waves, Mrs. B.R. Ballance and Mrs. B.F. Etheridge, Jr. of Buxton, and Mrs. Fred Austin of Hatteras. Also by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. Douglas of Salvo, C.A., A.V. and L.D. Midgett of Waves.
Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time of printing.
