Lettie L. Nelson, 96, of 6 North Fourth St., Niles, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday at Red Bud Estates Adult Foster Care Home, Berrien Springs. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Allred Funeral Home Berrien Springs, where friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Berrien Springs. Memorials may be made to the Berrien Springs American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 85, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Nelson was born Nov. 21, 1891, in Baroda. She was a member of the Golden Age Club, Niles, and Central County Senior Citizens. Berrien Springs.
Survivors include: A daughter, Mrs. Leta Anstiss of Berrien Center ; two sons Lee Nelson of Baroda and Dale Nelson of Berrien Springs; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Clifton, preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1941..
