FUNERAL SERVICES FOR COUNTY PIONEER TO BE HELD FRIDAY.
J. H. Casselman, Baroda pioneer, died this morning at 10 o'clock from a stroke of apoplexy, just three months after the death of his wife.
Mr. Casselman was born In Ohio, .Feb. 29, 1848, and had lived in Baroda township for 57 years.
In 1872 he married Miss Amanda Phillips.
Surviving are one son, Harry, of Benton Harbor; five daughters, Mrs. Iva Mead, Mrs. Kate Derby, Mrs. William Critzer and Mrs. Clifford Nelson, of Baroda township, and Mrs. Edward Landon of Decatur; 22 grandchildren and seven great grand children.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home, and at 2 o'clock at Mt. Tabor church. The Rev. F. P. Sprague of the Baroda Congregational church, will officiate, and burial will be in the Hinman cemetery..
